is the youth ministry of
First
Baptist Church in Franklin, VA. We are a group of youth ages
12-18 that are focused on Seeking God, Seeking souls; Teaching God,
teaching Souls; Reaching God, Reaching Souls until the return of
Christ. We attempt to carryout this mission by displaying a
lifestyle complimenting the words Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 2:22.
That's where our name comes from.
T2
is short for "The book of Timothy Chapter 2 and verse 22. We believe
that God has given us many different gifts, talents, and anointing.
For that reason we express ourselves in praise, worship, and
evangelism through venues of poetry, dance, mime, music, fellowship,
holy hip-hop and more. We have been taught that where the Spirit of
the LORD is, there is liberty, and we should respectfully not allow
people to put us down because we are young. God uses young people
all the time. He made Josiah a King at age 7, David to drop the
Giant Goliath, a young girl to lead Naaman to get healed, and He
said that He had hidden the secrets to His kingdom in children.
That's why we dedicate our lives to him while we are still young.
